My wife jokingly calls me Wrong MacDonald.
I am a Copywriter and Creative Director.
I have been doing this job for the past 30 years. I've been freelance most of that time. Starting back when freelance was another way of saying, you were between jobs.
Freelance has given me the freedom to work on a wide range of clients across many categories. Not to mention the opportunity to work at some amazing agencies (by last count over 60) in nearly a dozen markets, across eight countries and five continents.
I love to travel.

In short, I take the “ums” and “ahs” out of your answer to that age-old chestnut of a question, “what do you do?”

The real excitement happens at my client’s bottom line. For an automaker, it was an 82% increase in sales in a category that was in double-digit decline- numbers so good, the client used the same creative for the next two years.
For a video game retailer, my work as Director of Marketing, Creative Director, Copywriter, Art Director, Producer, and Media Buyer, helped it grow from 55 stores to 120 across Canada, the US, and the UK, in less than one year!
For a futon manufacturer, it meant its largest purchase order ever, thanks to one small-budget, large-sized direct mail piece.
